FBI’s Quiet Probe of White Supremacist Infiltration of Law Enforcement

According to the classified 2015 FBI Counterterrorism Policy Guide, the active presence of white supremacist, militia and other domestic extremists in local police agencies has forced the FBI to alter its practice to shield its investigations from the ultra-rightist infiltrators. According to the guide, the FBI’s “domestic terrorism investigations” of white supremacist and other ultra-right extremists “often have identified active links to law enforcement officers.”
